Actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra arrested in porn film creation case

 

NEW DEHLI:-Raj Kundra was captured on Monday "as he gives off an impression of being the key plotter", said the Mumbai Police, adding they have adequate proof against him.

 Entertainer Shilpa Shetty's significant other, money manager Raj Kundra has been captured by the Mumbai police over a case including pornographic movies. The Mumbai Police said they captured Mr Kundra on Monday "as he has all the earmarks of being the critical schemer of this". 


The police additionally said they have "adequate proof" against him, however they added that further examinations are in progress. 


The case - including making of pornographic movies and distributing them through some applications - was enlisted with the Mumbai Wrongdoing Branch in February this year. 



"There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We've arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this," the Mumbai Police Commissioner said in a statement.


Denying any wrongdoing, Raj Kundra had sought anticipatory bail in the case. 


Shilpa Shetty wedded Raj Kundra in 2009 and they invited their first kid, child Viaan Raj Kundra, in 2012. The couple invited their subsequent kid - a little girl named Samisha by means of surrogacy, last year. 


Raj Kundra - the proprietor of an application called JL Stream - was part proprietor of Indian Chief Class cricket crew Rajasthan Royals.
